Sotiris Kalodikis, aka Sotus Bo earned his name quite early by Dj-ing in
clubs while he was still in high school. Born in the island of Corfu, Greece
in 1979; from his early years it was clear to him the road he wanted to take
in life and that was and still is music.
Once Sotiris reached his 15 years of age, he was involved in dance music by
buying house and progressive records, while introducing the sounds of
electronic music to his friends. Since the age of 17 has been Dj-ing in
various events such as summer festivals, clubs and bars in Greece, Germany
and UK. Various styles of Music records have been accumulated over the many
years through his passion for music, before attempting to create his own music.
Since 2002 he has been experimenting with various electronic music
productions that lead to the formation of the Outline project. The Outline
project is consisted by himself and nVerne (a.k.a. Nikolas Dimitratos)
composer and performer of modern and baroque flute.
Sotus Bo has studied music production in London and has obtained diplomas by PointBlank College on music production, Steinberg and Native Instruments
Centers. His first recording appearance was made in 2006 with the "Mermaid "track in Underground Lessons records, in the compilation "Collexion" and
Swift records with the "Chronicle of Sand" and "Dry land" in G.Pal/2
compilation.
He has remixed a new song for Sarah McLachlan from her latest album
"Wintersong" , "the first Noel. In 2006 he was involved into the post
production of a short film called the "Chronicle of Sand" working on sound
engineering and music editing through the Outline project. His influences
are mostly of electronic origin and his compositions mainly fall into two
categories: Dance music [Progressive House-Breaks] and Ambient.
